House Remodel Stage 1 Maria and I have started construction on the front house in preperation of us moving down and swapping with her Mom. We have decided to tackel this remodel of a 1920's three bedroom two bath home by doing it in three stages. This is stage one, creating a master suite by relocating a door down the hall way to enclose one of the bathrooms. While we were at it we removed two small windows for one large one, created a larger closet opening, filled in a window and made the bathroom window smaller both of which faced our neighbors front door. The bathroom is also getting a new layout and we are seeting the toilet back into a little nitch to give the bathroom a much larger feel. We also are updating the electrical wiring, and adding insulation in the ceiling, walls and eventually the floor.
